Bed & Breakfast
The B & B is located in Tuscany, in the historic center of the Municipality of Tresana (MS) in Lunigiana, a green area, rich of woods and pristine rivers, dominated by the beauty of the “Apuane” Alps. The building that houses it overlooks the main square of the town and is part of the Malaspina Castle. Once the palace was used as a guesthouse for pilgrims who, along the “Via Francigena”, sought protection and coolness in the shade of the majestic Castle built on a rock that dominates the surrounding landscape.
Modern facilities in an ancient atmosphere
Completely renovated, the B&B offers to its guests rooms with private bathrooms, furnished in part with antique and partly with modern and functional furniture and objects. Breakfast is served in a characteristic room, free wifi, free parking in front of the structure, large garden.
Free access to the castle
Guests of the Bed & Breakfast also have free access to the Castle’s outdoor spaces, where they can stay freely for as long as they wish. Tables, deckchairs and umbrellas are available where you can admire enchanting views of the surrounding landscape and a splendid panorama that embraces, towards the south, the entire valley of the Osca torrent up to the Apuan Alps, with the majestic peaks of the Pisanino, Pizzo d’Uccello and Monte Sagro.
Breath-taking view of the ancient Marquises
Guests of the B & B can also access, always for free, inside the quadrangular Tower up to the panoramic terrace where they can sunbathe, read (there are different books available) relax or simply chat and socialize as much as they want.
The main tower offers to its guests five rooms and a terrace on the top floor at a height of about 30 meters above the ground. The view of the valley and the mountains is unique, the environment that surrounds the Castle and can be seen from above is pristine.
The reception
Marianna, the Castle’s owner daughter, will welcome the guest. Her sweet and inseparable little dog Kiwi will be there too.
Marianna is 28 years old, loves nature and animals, takes care of the B&B and the Castle. Guests will surely appreciate her kindness, availability and joy of life.
